The Echo Surfers

The Surf School that Celebrates Nature and Well-Being. The Echo Surfers School was born out of its founder’s passion and experience as a free-surfer for over 25 years. The name “Echo” is inspired by the deep connection with the rhythm of the tides and oceans, symbolizing the infinite echo of the waves that surf lovers know so well. Based at the Kailua Bar in Praia da Fonte da Telha, Echo Surfers is committed to sharing the magic of surfing and the importance of caring for our ocean with students of all ages and skill levels. It is a project based on three pillars: “WELLNESS – SURF – NATURE”. In addition to surfing, Echo Surfers promotes physical and mental well-being, encouraging students to be in harmony with nature and themselves.

The Echo Surfers offers lessons for surfers of all levels, from beginners to experienced surfers who want to improve their skills. The school’s highly trained and passionate instructors ensure that students feel safe and confident as they explore the wonders of the waves. Situated on one of the best beaches on the Costa da Caparica (Fonte da Telha), they have the privilege of a privileged location with crystal-clear beaches and perfect waves for surfing. In addition, this school is always committed to organizing beach cleaning activities – “a clean beach is a healthy beach”, and also environmental education programs to raise awareness in the community about the importance of conservation.
